The Township of Toms River has utilized a lock box payment center to process current tax payments since the mid 1990’s. In an effort to keep the cost of municipal services down while continuing to provide the best service to our tax payers it was determined to be the most cost effective way to process tax payments. The Boston address is used because it is in close proximity to the lock box facility which aids in the prompt processing of tax payments.
