Grand Opening for the New Traco Theater PDF Print E-mail

Mayor Thomas F. Kelaher announces that he will be attending the Ribbon Cutting for the new Traco Theater, which is short for Toms River Arts Company this Saturday, December 3, 2011, at 6:00 p.m. in Downtown Toms River on Washington Street.  The theater opened on November 4th and was sold out featuring a triple bill comedy show.  The original moviehouse, known as the Toms River Amusement Company, was open from 1912 to 1952 .  The state-of-the-art theater holds seating for 70 people which includes plush chairs, a deluxe sound system, a digital motion picture projection system plus screen, a stage and green room.
