Reservation Tips
- Widen the parameters of your request. When you request a reservation in a one hour time slot, you are asking for one of seven possible reservations. Every hour you add to the parameters of your request increases your chance of securing a reservation.
- Please only request reservations that you intend to use. By making reservations and cancelling them you are accumulating points for securing a reservation. You are also making it more difficult for those golfers who actually want to play.
- Please include the names of the golfers with whom you intend to play. When “guests” are listed in a foursome, the Captain accumulates the total point value. When the names of all players are listed in a foursome, the point values are appropriately dispersed among all four players. This lower point value will increase your chances of securing a desired reservation.
- All four players playing in the same foursome should not request reservations. This action increases the number of requests, which subsequently decreases the chance of securing a desired tee time for everyone.
- If you secure a reservation that is later than your original request, you will accumulate fewer points. This means the next time you make a request you will have a better chance of securing an earlier reservation within your requested parameters.
Reservation Point Summary
- Points are accumulated utilizing a 7-day history
- The Captain of a reservation accumulates 1 point and each guest accumulates ½ point. If no ID numbers are entered for the guest slots, the Captain accumulates the ½ point for each guest. In this scenario, the Captain would accumulate a total of 2½ points.
- In the event that a Captain secures a reservation which is more than one hour from the requested reservation, but the reservation still falls within the request window, the Captain accumulates .75 point and the guests accumulate .25 point.
- All names on the reservation sheet at the end of the day accumulate an additional point.
- No shows accumulate an additional 3 points. Therefore, if a Captain does not include ID numbers for guests in a particular reservation, the Captain would accumulate 12 points for a no show.
