Ocean County Hazardous Material Program
This program is run by Ocean County. Call 732-367-0802 for current dates and view the program flyer for more information. Registration is required. Following is a partial list of items that need to be collected during the Haz-Mat collection.
- Aerosol cans or plastic containers from auto products
- Aerosol cans or plastic containers from toxic substances
- Driveway sealer
- Mineral spirits, kerosene, anti-freeze and gasoline
- Pesticides or chemicals
- Stains/varnishes
- Thermometers (mercury).
Ocean County Document Shredding Program
Program is free to all residents. Event remains open for their allotted time OR UNTIL TRUCK FILLS. All documents destroyed on-site. Not limited to host town residents. View the flyer here for full list of dates and locations.
