The Township operates a Housing Rehabilitation program funded by US Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant funding to assist low-moderate income households with owner-occupied single family dwellings to repair their dwellings and bring them back into code compliance.   Should CDBG funding be reduced in future years, the program has been established in compliance with COAH regulations which allows Township Affordable Housing Trust funds to be utilized for Housing Rehabilitation projects.

This program requires homeowners to agree to a 10-year affordability control through a forgivable loan. All applicants and their households must meet income eligibility.  Income eligibility is based on household size and include all income of all members of the household.  Approximately 14 households are assisted annually.
